Wanting to encourage more women into the field, sex toy company We-Vibe is offering scholarships to cover entry costs to Australia’s first Sextech Hackathon. The weekend-long event kicks off on March 23 at Academy Xi in Sydney’s central business district.
But time is running out quickly! Applications close at 10pm AEST Wednesday, March 21, and successful applicants will be contacted the following day. The application form is simple and quick to complete, so no excuses ladies!
There are 10 scholarships available that will pay for the $65 ticket. Note that they do not include travel fees so winners will be responsible for paying their own way to get to the event.
Anyone who identifies as a woman can apply and the bursaries are open to both students and non-students.
This is the second SexTech Hackathon organized by Bryony Cole of the Future of Sex Podcast. Cole held the previous one New York City last year.
