Feel the ‘G-thrust’: Motorbunny’s Hybrid Sex Saddle ‘Buck’ Thrusts and Vibrates

CMO Craig Mewbourne on the new device and ‘”bonkers” turn of events that led to The Motorbunny Club ad campaign.

For sex saddle company Motorbunny, 2019 was a great year.

Not only did it release the Buck, an enhanced version of the Motorbunny Original that’s both a thruster and a vibrator, it was also nominated for several awards.

Perhaps the most unexpected win was for Best Marketing Campaign at AVN’s 2020 “O” Awards for “The Motorbunny Club,” a collaboration between Motorbunny and Adam & Eve Pictures.

But the successful campaign could have just as easily never happened. Motorbunny CMO Craig Mewbourne explains how the popular video series featuring Romi Rain and Britney Amber came to be:

The Motorbunny Club is a movie by Adam and Eve Pictures, or a series of vignettes that come together for a two-part movie. Streamable at hotmovies.com and it just came up out of nowhere actually. They wanted to adapt Selena Kitt’s very popular novel The Sybian Club.

For some reason somebody didn’t like that and so they asked if they could change it, and she actually changed the title of her novel and they made The Motorbunny Club. It’s been just absolutely bonkers.

The exposure doesn’t seem to have hurt Motorbunny—quite the opposite. So it’s a bit of a head-scratcher as to why someone connected to Sybian didn’t want that product featured.

That being said, Motorbunny’s Buck is an impressive and powerful sex machine that can be used for long-distance intimacy and even integrates with a video game.

They saw us as a fun, freewheeling, kind of knock-off artist for a while. This year, they’ve taken note that we’re not going to rest on our laurels, and we’re not going to sit on a product, even if it’s successful. If there’s room for innovation. We’re going to keep moving.

It comes with all the classic, all the way to 11 power as the Motorbunny Original. But instead of rotating as traditional products in the saddle-style category go, the Buck both thrusts straight up and down and straight up and forward. We call that G-thrust, and it all depends on how you toggle the cycles.

It’s great for deployed military spouses, long-distance relationships, cam performers. A lot of people are seeing the value in long-distance intimacy.

This is a collaboration with Doc Johnson. It’s a Vac-U-Lock adapter, which changes the Buck experience from the two different attachments that come with the unit into 700 experiences.
