3-Breasted Woman Deemed a Hoax, Dashing Sci-Fi Dreams
The question “are they real?” has been taken to a whole new level.
Jasmine Tridevil turned heads this week after unveiling a third breast she claims cost her $20,000 to be surgically attached. Like the tri-boobed beauties in both Total Recall films, her extra appendage is smack in the middle of her chest.
And, like those futuristic babes, her story appears to be one of fiction.
To get a glimpse of the breast in question, check out Tridevil’s YouTube channel. One video shows her coyly posing before the camera in a skimpy pink bikini—the top has three cups, of course.
According to EJ Dickson at The Daily Dot, plastic surgery experts say adding a third boob may be possible. But they aren’t buying Tridevil’s story because of the breast’s appearance and disbelief that a doctor would actually carry out the surgery.
A police report filled out by Tridevil, whose real name is Alisha Hessler, also casts doubt. After her baggage was stolen at Tampa International Airport this month, she listed a “3 breast prosthesis” as one of her missing belongings.
Still, Tridevil says she is creating a reality show, which will air surgery footage that could prove her tri-boob is real. On her Facebook page, she wrote Wednesday that she is “going to post a video to put the rumors to rest soon.”
We’ll have to wait and see what comes of this story, even though right now it’s not looking good.
Cosmetic surgery has been around for centuries, and it’s interesting to know that the much drooled over three-breasted women of science fiction could actually exist. But at the moment, it seems like none do.
Not everyone finds this augmentation of the female form attractive. Tridevil herself said she wanted the alleged implant to deter men from pursuing her.
In the 2012 reboot of Total Recall, such a temptress approaches Colin Farrell’s character and says, “Trust me baby, you’re going to wish you had three hands.”
Well, would you?
