Kiiroo Updates Its Smart Vibrator to Enable Two-Way Interactive Sex
The latest improvements flip the focus to women’s pleasure.
In a step toward true teledildonics, the possibility of virtual sex as good as the flesh-and blood variety, Dutch sex toy manufacturer Kiiroo has announced its smart vibrator Pearl can now be controlled remotely by both another Pearl and its interactive male sex sleeve, the Onyx.
Previously, the Pearl was a one-way device that only sent signals to the male counterpart.
How it works
Utilizing capacitive touch, the Onyx male sex sleeve mimics human sexual contact in response to a transmission from a Pearl. The Pearl also picks up actions from an Onyx user, which the female device then delivers using sensitive touch vibration modes. Additionally, two Pearls and two Onyxs can also be paired for same-sex enjoyment.

Embracing the Internet of things, Kiiroo’s Pearl and Onyx use Bluetooth to connect. They can also communicate over the Internet—a potential boon to those in long-distance relationships.
A lack of real interactivity, particularly for products that center on women’s satisfaction, has long been a stumbling block in making the technology truly immersive. This development with the Kiiroo devices, though, means the company’s remote sex toys can offer a reciprocal two-way experience.
“We worked hard to create one of the few devices on the market that allows a woman to completely control her own pleasure with a unique new sensitive touch vibration feature,” said Kiiroo CEO Toon Timmermans in a press release.
“Her pleasure can now also be remotely controlled in real time by a partnered Kiiroo device, so we’re thrilled to bring the simulated sex experience full circle.”
