Tessa Leach is a Strategy and Consulting Analyst at Accenture. Her work is intricately linked to transformational technologies. She is passionate about how we might create the conditions for new technologies and innovation to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
She believes that technologies have an agency of their own, but that they are not always agentic in the ways we might expect.
Her academic research covered the history and philosophy of anthropomorphic machines (such as NLP and robots). This was the topic of my book "Machine Sensation" (2020). She received her Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology and her BA in Cultural Studies from the University of Melbourne.
