Discreet little sextoy delivers BIG pleasures

I absolutely love MIA3, the newest addition to LELO’s selection of clitoral toys! It’s whisper quiet, lightweight, sleek, and so darned powerful! And it’s just the right size to tuck into a purse or pocket. 

Honestly, it’s a pleasure to hold and use, even as it delivers eight different, powerful vibration patterns exactly where you want them. You really could take MIA3 almost anywhere!

Out of the box and into action

MIA3 (mine was purple), comes with a small drawstring storage bag; a sample of LELO’s personal moisturizer; a tiny, multilingual user manual (go online to download a PDF of the full manual), and a warranty card for an extra year’s coverage. 

At first I was flummoxed that it didn’t seem to come with a power cord, but my more tech-minded partner unscrewed its top, revealing a USB plug. Voila! 

I so appreciate not having to keep track of yet another sex toy power cord. I can even charge it with my laptop! 

Once MIA was unlocked and sufficiently charged (two hours for the first time), we began to put it through its paces. 

The result? Well, let me put it this way, it’s a toy I’m keeping in my bedside drawer and taking with me when I travel!

A mysterious lipstick shape

I confess: I haven’t used a vibrator with a lipstick-shaped tip before so I began checking the sensations produced in both the smaller tip end and the vibrator’s shaft. 

Here’s where I got a little confused. Clearly, the shaft had more power but sensations were also produced in the tip. So which part were we supposed to play with? 

Unsure, though always willing to explore, we diddled around with the sensations produced by both ends, running through all eight vibration variations. And they did feel good!

Afterwards, I went to LELO’s site, which says MIA3 has a “sculpted tip for accurate pleasure” and “the shape has been specifically molded to target the clitoris for fast, intense climaxes.” 

Oddly, the manual tells a different story, as the illustration above demonstrates, showing how to hold the MIA3 by the tip end, to stroke the more powerful shaft on the clitoris.

But it really doesn’t matter as long as it feels good, right? And it’s easy to click the plus or minus buttons to power it up and change the vibration levels as you use it, no matter which end you use—so kudos to LELO for the MIA3’s versatile design! 

Features and functions

The MIA3 is made of high-grade, ABS, body-safe silicone with a matte finish that is smooth and silky to the touch. It comes in three colors: black, purple, and deep rose.

As for discretion, the MIA3 hums well below 60 dB. If you’re distracted by sounds as so many people are, this vibrator may be the answer to your clitoral toy dilemma.

MIA3 is also easy to control. All you use are two buttons: plus and minus. These buttons can be operated with a semi-short press to turn on or off and double clicks on either button to switch between the eight modes. Your downloadable user manual will tell you more about the controls and also the meaning of the different LED light displays. 

MIA3 is fully waterproof, so it’s very easy to clean before and after every use. Just wash with warm water and antibacterial soap, rinse, and dry. Plus you can even enjoy it in the shower! 

A clitoral vibrator with benefits

I appreciate that MIA3’s small size at slightly over four inches (111mm ) long and weight (1.27oz/36g), makes it easy to handle and use without tiring. I imagine it’ll also be helpful for people with some forms of arthritis or little strength in their hands. 

Also, as someone recovering from surgery with some sexual activity restrictions, I appreciate having a new toy able to deliver clitoral pleasure without violating my surgeon’s orders. If you’re also recovering from surgery or have a medical condition, always check with your doctor first.

Overall, I can’t think of any flaws with this product, except perhaps its provided  manual is far too small to comfortably read–and accessing the larger-type version on the internet can  be annoying. 

That said, I highly recommend LELO’s MIA3 as an incredibly pleasurable addition to anyone’s toy collection!

An ergonomic wonder

Because nothing, even the best designed sex toys, is ever perfect, I have a single small quibble with Lelo’s SORAYA Beads. 

Chiefly is its lack of a readable manual.  While I expect smart toys to provide their users with an online guide—as they obviously tend to be more tech savvy—doing the same with a simpler anal massager feels unnecessarily cheap, if not frustratingly shortsighted as accessing SORAYA Beads’ online manual is hard enough for technofetishists like myself, but near impossible for anyone looking for a low tech, user friendly experience.

A new favorite

Of all the anal massagers I’ve tried, owned, or reviewed, Lelo’s SORAYA Beads won’t end up in my overstuffed closet with the rest of the good-but-not-great ones, instead receiving the high honor of living in my bedside table drawer.
